The Santa Cruz Sentinel has one of those ooey-gooey marriage stories that’s almost impossible not to smile at, no matter how jaded you may be.

Terri Morgan reports on a San Diego couple who came to get hitched at our own Mystery Spot this week.

“Colleen O’Neil Cobb and her husband Nathan Cobb tied the knot at the roadside attraction Monday to commemorate their first two years together, which were spent exploring America.

The free spirits traveled from San Diego to Santa Cruz with their 2-year-old daughter, Penelope, for the wedding, which took place on a small deck overlooking the entrance to the Mystery Spot. The bride wore a long, coral-colored dress and green Converse tennis shoes. The groom donned a black T-shirt with a tuxedo printed on the front, blue jeans and mint-colored Converse tennis shoes.”

The photos are especially sweet. Kudos to photographer Dan Coyro.
