The Santa Cruz urban scavenger hunt

September 3, 2013

The Santa Cruz Museum of Art and History is hosting a special urban scavenger hunt later this month.

The event, titled “Race Through Time,” will feature both a biking and walking component, with clues, prizes and surprise challenges along the way. It takes place Friday, Sept. 20 from 5 to 9 p.m.

Teams of two to five people will race to solve clues that reveal 20 historically significant places in Santa Cruz. Teams will earn points as they discover each location. Extra points will also go to the best-dressed team and teams who participate in special surprise challenges at various locations. The event will culminate in a reception at the Museum with a cash bar and snacks.

Registration is $50 for a team, though teams including a MAH member only have to pay $40. Tickets are available here.
