Looking for something to keep your kids busy this summer?
The Museum of Art and History in Santa Cruz has a bunch of fun-sounding summer classes for students from ages 6 to 12.
Each “camp” runs Monday through Friday. Some are all-day, while others just run half the day with the option of signing up for both a morning and afternoon session.
The first camp, scheduled from June 17- 21, is Sculpting and Metalsmithing with Lynn Guenther, a teacher and professional artist who has exhibited nationally.
Other classes include digital photography, drawing, painting and musical theater.
A full listing and explanation of all the camps can be found here. Most cost about $215 for non-members.
Of course, there’s plenty of other camp options for your kiddos around here too. Stay tuned!
